CARE WE DELIVER OURSELVES
Unlike our placement services, we provide the care directly. All Care To Seniors is licensed by the State of California as a Home Care Organization, license #194701326. Every caregiver we send is a certified California Home Care Aide - screened, trained and managed by us.
All Care To Seniors carries General and Professional Liability Insurance, and our employed caregivers are covered by Workers' Compensation insurance.

SCOPE OF CARE: WHAT OUR CAREGIVERS DO
Non-medical care, which covers more ground than most families expect.

1

-
Bathing, showering and grooming
-
Dressing and toileting
-
Help in and out of bed or a chair, and safe walking support
-
Incontinence care
-
Medication reminders
2
Home Making
-
Meal planning, cooking and help with eating
-
Light housekeeping, laundry and linens
-
Assisting in medical appointments
3
Companionship
-
Conversation, walks and time outside of the house
-
Keeping a routine when memory is slipping
-
Overnight supervision for someone who wanders or fails
-
Being present so the family caregiver can rest
One boundary worth stating plainly: this is non-medical care. Our caregivers give medication reminders, not injections, wound care, or nursing. If a doctor has ordered skilled care, that is home health - a different license, and we will refer you to a reputable agency that holds it.
COVERAGE
Care is built around the schedule the situation actually needs, not a package.
01
Hourly Visits: Bathing, meals and check-ins, in shifts of four, eight or 12 hours.
03
Twelve-Hr Shifts: Day or night coverage - the most common arrangement we provide.
05
Respite Care: Short-term coverage so a family caregiver can rest or travel
02
Overnight Care: A caregiver awake in the home through the night.
04
24-Hr Care: At least two caregivers in the home full time, each day of the week.

Our minimum shift is four hours. That's long enough to do the job properly - a bath, a meal and time that isn't rushed - rather than a drive-by.
WHO SHOWS UP
Family rarely choose an agency on its brochure. They choose based on whether they trust the person walking through the door. So this is where we spend our effort.
Certified by the state, without exception
Every caregiver we send is a certified California Home Care Aide, listed on the state registry maintained by the California Department of Social Services.
Background checked by the state
Registration as a California Home Care Aide requires Live Scan fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and the FBI. Nobody appears on that registry without it.
Good Match
We consider the condition, the language spoken at home and temperament. A good caregiver who is a poor fit for the client is still a poor fit..
Backed Up
If your regular caregiver is sick or unavailable, we cover the shift. Continuity is a deliverable.
STRAIGHT TALK ON PRICE:WHAT IN-HOME CARE COSTS
We quote rates after the in-home assessment rather than publishing a price list, because the honest answer depends on things a web page can't know - how much hands-on help is needed, how many hours and whether nights or weekends are involved. Hourly care is billed by the hour.
Three things move the number:
LEVEL OF CARE
Help with lifting, transfers and incontinence care is priced differently from companionship and meal preparation.
SCHEDULE
A few hours per day and a full-time schedule are quoted differently. Overnight shifts and holiday shifts may not have the same price as regular shift hours.
LOCATION
Price is also dependent on the place of care or service. Accessibility to public transportation or the need for the caregiver to have private transportation may have impact on the price.
GETTING STARTED: THE ONBOARDING PROCESS
STEP 1:
A PHONE CALL
Tell us what's happening. Most of what we need to know comes out in fifteen minutes.
STEP 2:
A FREE IN-HOME ASSESSMENT
We visit, meet the person who needs care, check the home for safety issues and build a care plan. No cost, no commitment.
STEP 3:
A CAREGIVER MATCH
We propose a specific caregiver and tell you why that person, for this situation.
STEP 4:
CARE BEGINS
We check in early and often at the start - the first two weeks are when adjustments are needed.
Working against a hospital or rehab discharge date ? Say so when you call. Those move fast and we plan around them regularly.

COMMON QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CALL
Is this the same as Home Health? No. Home Health is medical care ordered by a doctor - nursing and therapy, usually covered by Medicare. What we provide is non-medical personal care, delivered in shifts and generally paid privately. Many families need both.
How quickly can care start? Often within a few days from the day, you say yes and faster when a discharge is driving the timeline. Call and tell us the date you are working against.
Does Medicare pay for this ? No. Medicare does not cover non-medical home care. Long-term care insurance frequently does, and some families qualify through VA or IHSS benefits. We can walk you through what applies.
Do you provide caare in assisted living or a nursing facility? Often yes. Families add a private caregiver for one-to-one attention when facility staffing is spread thin.
Can we meet the caregiver before care starts ? Yes and we encourage it. The match matters more than anything else.
What does it cost? Rates depend on the level of care and the schedule, so we quote after a free in-home assessment rather than publishing a price list. You will have a number before you commit to any
What if we don't like the caregiver ? Tell us and we will change him/her. No awkwardness, no penalty.
Are your caregivers employees or contractors? Both, depending on the arrangement. Either way, every caregiver we send is a certified California Home Care Aide you can verify with the state. Our employed caregivers are covered by workers' compensation, and the agency carries general and professional liability insurance.
Are you licensed? Yes. All Care To Seniors is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Home Care Organization, license #194701326
